Kayak wire 2,5mm

It is a well known problem with alia Valley plastic kayaks that Wiren bent out, either going by the handle or finn coffin so that it subsequently becomes difficult to use, yes sometimes totally unusable. Sometimes you can successfully repair it and it takes not much time to change it. But once bent, then its easaly bents again. Often this is done by incorrect operation, which has had such a small stone seated crushed or when you come in shallow water and "forgot" to raise Finn and then we have at it again.
 
But now, the arrival of a permanent solution to the problem because of what we have been provided a special vire, comprising only 7 powerful threads instead of the many small threads. This special vire was subsequently rolled into the 3.1 mm. Diameter as threads fits completely without air in between. Vire This is so much stiffer that "udbukning" no longer a problem and the only downside is that because of its high stiffness is tighter in the round in the tube down to Finn, so the dry is hard to move, but when the kayak lies in the water, then greased tube / viren of water and then it will go ok and the price of the stranded more vire worth paying in relation to avoiding problems with viren.

We have tested the new wire in autumn 2008, partly Karpenhøjs course kayaks and also own, and which it was previously a weekly task switching vire, we have not changed wire on kayaks since we have installed the new vire.
